Making Treatment Comfortable for Your Child

After numbing the area, Dr. Christensen will remove any damaged or decayed tissue before preparing the tooth for a filling or crown. If necessary, a pulpotomy (a form of “baby root canal”) may be performed to preserve the tooth’s health, particularly when the decay affects the nerve.
